Ntethelelo Foundation (NF) is a womyn-led organization that uses applied drama powerful interactive techniques and various art methodologies as facilitation tools for dialogue to foster social change and help end violence against womyn womyn1 and girls. These techniques are rooted in the Theater of the Oppressed framework, NF’s programs are designed to break the chain of gender inequality and oppression, dismantle toxic masculinity and poverty.
Our Vision and Mission
Ntethelelo Foundation (NF) is a womyn-led organization committed to uplifting the lives of young womyn and girls. Using powerful interactive techniques, grounded in the Theater of the Oppressed framework, NF’s programs are designed to break the chain of gender inequality and oppression, violence, and poverty.
NF uses art methodologies to fight gender-based violence and eliminate the spread of HIV among young people. The methodologies we use are the theatre of the oppressed, visual arts, music, poetry, photography, and yoga & mindfulness.
